Group Consultations
For EMDR Therapy Certification, RAP, and Community Care
EMDR Group Consultations
Foundational EMDR Group Consultation
The greatest predictor of whether a therapist continues to use EMDR therapy is their consultation. EMDR can be complicated, it’s not a magic bullet, but getting a refresher can help. This is why we need group consultation. Therapists need to feel supported, feel encouraged, and also cultivate our expertise that has always been there.
EMDR consultation groups can help you to review the standard protocol, review the eight phases and master the three-pronged approach.
Participating in each group fulfills 2 hours of your EMDRIA certification hours.

Let's Learn the RAP Framework (2hr)
Rhythm and Processing Learning Groups
Rhythm and Processing (RAP) groups are designed to teach therapists an approach based on Anti-Racist Psychotherapy to heal complex PTSD and racial trauma.
- No matter who you are and who you work with you can learn an approach that helps clients regardless of their race, culture, sexual identity, or trauma history.
- Learn ways of conceptualizing cases for complex trauma and dissociative symptoms.
- Although it is designed for mental health practitioners I want all people to know that healing trauma can involve music, video, and culture.
- These are two hour groups: learn and benefit together.
Therapist Community Care: RAP (1 hr)
Therapist Community Care Groups
We can be harmed by witnessing suffering. Vicarious trauma is a real risk when we work with trauma survivors and are exposed to stories of violence. We need strategies that can help us to continue this good work. The best way of confronting compassion fatigue is with compassion satisfaction.
- Come practice with us, using the RAP technique, guided by David.
- If you have previously attended a RAP workshop or learnt the RAP technique, then join us.
- One hour group, we use the technique and we heal together.
